SPECKLED TROUT RV PARK MAKES NO REFUNDS FOR NO SHOWS, INCLEMENT WEATHER OR EARLY CHECK OUTS!
- RV Sites:The minimum stay is 2 nights. Holiday weekends have a 3-night minimum stay (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Easter & Thanksgiving). Entire amount of stay is due at time of booking.
- Discounts: Discounts are not valid for holiday periods. No two discounts can be used together. Rates are based on up to Six persons per campsite. A site rate is not guaranteed unless booked and paid for in full. NO REFUNDS FOR HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS.
- All sites are to be used solely by Registered Guest. Subleasing, renting or assigning any rights or interest that the Registered Guest may have to others under this Rules Agreement is not allowed.
- Specials: Subject to availability, not for holidays, cannot be used with any other discount and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.
- Quiet Hour:Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AMNoise: Sound carries. Please keep radios, TV’s and conversations at normal levels. Please be mindful of fellow campers.
- Deposits and Cancellations:The full amount of your reservation is paid at time of booking. Campsite cancellations more than 72 hours from date of arrival will receive 100% refund less a $25.00 processing fee. Cancellations within 48-72 hours receive a 50% refund less a $25 processing fee. There is no refund for a less than 48 hour notice or a no show. We accept Paypal, Visa, MasterCard & Venmo. - Hammocks/Tents: NO STAKES on RV Sites. this is for the safety of our guests due to buried water and electrical lines (NO Tents or Hammocks on RV SItes)
- Vehicles:Only one vehicle per site. Contact Speckled Trout River Club @ (864) 631-4161, to inquire about availability of additional vehicle parking.All vehicle(s) must be parked within your rented RV site on the gravel. No parking is allowed on grass, roadside, or empty RV sites.
- Wifi:We offer free Wifi. Note: Wifi in this area is not always reliable!
- Campfires:Individual campfires must be above ground and contained in a fire pit. Do not cut trees/limbs for firewood.
- Trash:We are a “Leave No Trace” campsite. Due to the proximity to the river and the accessibility from the road, we do not have a dumpster on site. Please take all trash with you. There is a Trash/Recycling Center located off of Hgwy 107, on the opposite side of WCU’s Campus next to the Fire Station. The address is 4227 Little Savannah Road. Please do not pour grease on the ground, trees, or in the sewer. Do not throw out food scraps as this attracts unwanted wildlife, especially skunks and raccoons.
- Laundry:There is a Laundramat, “Suds your Duds”, located at 3222 Old Cullowhee Road, approximately 1 mile from our site.
- Water Use:No washing Cars or RV’s, as we are on a well and it is not at all practical. Please do not leave water running at any time!! All water connections from November through March must be made with a commercial grade heated hose to protect from freezing. This is mandatory. There are no refunds as a result of frozen water lines.
- Pet-friendly:Non-aggressive, well-behaved pets are welcome. Pets must be kept on a leash. Limit 2 Per Campsite. Please do not leave them unattended and pick up and dispose of their waste.
- Alcohol: Alcohol is permitted at your campsite ONLY!
- The River:Swimming and fishing in the river is permitted at your own risk. You must have a fishing license and a trout stamp to fish.
Sewer:All sewer connections must be made using a fixed threaded fitting, no loose hoses. Please always keep unused sewer connections closed with the threaded plug. Please do not put sanitary napkins, tampons, diapers, paper towels, grease, food, etc. in the sewer.
Mail :WE DO NOT HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENTS. We do not have mailboxes. If required, you must retain a P.O. Box for mail.
- Solicitation:No soliciting … selling, advertising, or distribution of any product, including alcohol, is prohibited.
- Hold Harmless:Owner and management are not responsible for accidents or damages. The owner and management of the park absolve themselves of all liabilities and responsibilities pertaining to loss by fires, theft, accident, personal injury, or any other cause occurring in any area of the park. The registered guest is financially responsible for all individuals or pets at their site and for any damage to the park. Registered guests and their visitors hereby indemnify and hold harmless the management and owners of the park. Management reserves the right to make changes to the rules, regulations, and fees when necessary.
- Firearms and fireworks are prohibited.
